QF Radio – Delivering More of the Big Picture, everyday!

Program Making

Qatar Foundation staff and organizational partners are encouraged to make programs, or submit ideas for programs.
We are looking for creativity, new discoveries, exciting angles and any areas you feel may be of interest.

You don’t have to be ‘technically competent’ as QF Radio staff assist with recording and editing to final airplay.
We also welcome opportunities to come to you for interviews, events, workshops, exhibitions and more !

QF Radio Studios are located at Portacabin 1, Education City

The office is staffed from 7.30am-3.30pm Sunday – Thursday, or we can come and meet you

Themes

While education, science, technology, research, community development, and culture are key themes of Qatar Foundation, all program ideas will be given equal consideration.

Approval

Final approval for programs will be at the discretion of QF Radio, under the PR and Marketing Directorate.

Events Coverage

QF Radio is ideally placed to cover Qatar Foundation events from gala openings to distinguished guests visiting.
Out of hours events coverage is possible with prior notice.

QF Radio is very proud to invite listeners to tune in to QF Radio's newest show, Campus Buzz, created by students, for students and for youth accross Qatar and the world.
Campus Buzz offers a variety of perspectives on activities on campus here at Education City, Doha, plus media comment, comedy, tips of lifestyle, music and much more! 
Campus Buzz is pre-recorded at QF Radio studios on Sunday's for replay Monday morning and accross the week as listed below.

Calling Students from Education City and the world: Campus Buzz welcomes your feedback on topics you want to share, and we invite you to email your student issues, perpectives, questions and comment for discussion on  connect@qfradio.org.qa

Developing a Bi-lingual Station

While the predominant language of QF Radio initially is English, QF Radio invites Qatar Foundation staff who are fluent in Arabic to volunteer time to record program features, or to talk to us about your ideas for program making in Arabic language. QF Radio is committed to working towards a fully optimized bilingual program that reflects the cultural values and heritage of Qatar. Please contact QF Radio to join the Talent Pool and talk to us about your ideas.

Replaying Material
