It also gives them a platform to voice out any problems they may have regarding their classes, dorm life, facilities and other concerns.

NU Qatar's Speakers Series will be featuring this coming September, Roxana Saberi, an Iranian-American journalist who was falsely convicted and detained in Iran. She will talk about her time in Iran, and present an insight into Iranian society. She will also share the inspirations she gained from her fellow-political prisoners and the lessons she learned from her ordeal. The event will be held at the Grand Hyatt Ballroom.
